Bob Harper: life after surviving heart attack
The Biggest Loser trainer Bob Harper survived a heart attack, and in less than a month the star has made some life changes to ensure that his health is on the right track.
The star has started including exercise in the form of casual walks with his dog around New York City.
Although the star said that he is going to miss hitting the gym and being part of the cross fit revolution, he knows that this is what he needs right now.
The 51-year-old has always been a healthy eater but has now been advised to follow a Mediterranean Diet. The start of this diet was at Eataly NYC Flatiron in the Big Apple. Harper documented his meal with an Instagram photo that captioned the meal to be branzino with brussels sprouts and a side salad.
Harper has been told to have quiet early nights in to help with his recovery.
The fitness expert has been gathering knowledge about his condition, by reading helpful books like Heart 411: The Only Guide to Heart Health You’ll Ever Need.
Although Harper said that he does get emotional because he has to slow down, he does, however, understand that he will need to make a few changes to live a healthier life.
Doctors say that the star was very lucky and his health and fitness lifestyle will help him to make a full recovery.
