Michael Jordan’s New $12.4 Million Home

Michael Jordan’s new residence in tony Jupiter, Florida is nearing completion. Besides the attention given to the megawatt star power that will inhabit the place, the new house is also garnering attention for its own merits. Many in the real estate media have been pointing out its innovative, and cleverly used, state-of-the-art ventilation system — put in place to make the theater room all the more amenable to Jordan’s penchant for cigars.

Besides the nifty gadgetry needed to get that system running, Jordan’s newest house will also have a pool house, a guard hose, and a guest house, in case the main residence’s 11 rooms are totally occupied! Jordan has just about gone all out with the preparations, leaving no minor detail unconsidered. Something that couldn’t be lacking, of course, is a basketball court. You can check the box for that — the new house comes with one. In total, the house has 28,000 square feet of space.

When M.J. is not shooting hoops, he can wander through the vast golf course adjacent to his residence. As luck would have it, Tiger Woods, Dustin Johnson, and Keegan Bradley are all in the neighborhood, so a chance round of golf with any of those luminaries no far-off possibility for Jordan?
